Two New Masterpieces For the 125th Anniversary

In 1894, with the advent of the revolutionary 19-volume "Omega" movement, a brand name that was widely known in the watchmaking industry was born. To celebrate the 125th anniversary of the brand name, OMEGA held a commemorative event in Bienne, Switzerland, where the brand headquarters is located.

Omega also released two new masterpieces at the event. The first piece is the new Deville Tresor 125th Anniversary watch, which is made of yellow 18K gold with a red enamel dial and a Burgundy red leather strap. The back of the watch is encrusted with a 125th anniversary badge engraved with Damascus ornamentation. The ornament was originally used on the 19-inch "Omega" movement and is widely welcomed by the US market. The second shocking work released at the event recreates the classic 19-odd "Omega" movement and gives it a new life. Omega takes a number of original 19-calibre movement parts from its museum collection, including the main splint of the movement, other splints, escapement systems and bimetallic hairsprings. The parts were polished and refurbished by experts from the Omega Tourbillon workshop to reproduce 19 19-inch movements. Omega has also revolutionized the 21st century 19-calibre movement with upgraded and innovative parts, including the Swiss dial structure.
